A haveli in Jaipur with a courtyard we didn't want to leave
Old City, Jaipur · Hotels
Vinay came for the history. Aditi stayed for the courtyard at 5pm.
Pink sandstone, marble floors that stay cool all day, and a rooftop where the city noise arrives softened.
Why we went
A wedding nearby, and an excuse to stay two extra nights.
What actually happened
We took one fort tour, one very long nap, and drank about nine cups of chai in a courtyard we later described as 'the whole trip'.
